Marpole Curling Club

The Marpole Curling Club is happy to announce two initiatives to help new curlers get acquainted to the sport before the end of our season.

LEARN TO CURL SESSIONS

Each Wednesday from April 14th to April 28th, we will run a 1.5 hour Learn-to-Curl session for the cost of $15 per person.  This session will introduce you to curling, give you a good basis in the sport and get you ready to curl in one of our leagues in the Fall or to attend the drop-in sessions (below) and curl with confidence.  Each of these sessions may be limited in attendance so please pre-register by sending an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your name, the date you wish to attend (Apr 14, 21 or 28) and the number of guaranteed people in your group and I will get back to you.  This is a great way to learn the sport and see if curling is for you.

DROP-IN CURLING

Each Tuesday and Thursday from April 13th to April 29th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM we will offer drop-in curling for $6 per person per session.  This will give you a chance to try out the sport without a big commitment.  The is first-come first served on the day and we will have a maximum each session of 48 people.  If demand is great we will consider opening other days or perhaps a second time from 9:00 to 11:00 PM.  Please show up by 6:45 to get your name on the list and to allow us to form teams.  All levels of curler are welcome!  You can also practice from 6:45 to 6:55 to limber up.  If you need a little basic instruction, please consider our beginner clinics first and if that doens't work out, you can get some brief instruction from 6:45 to 6:55  (please be early if you wnat instruction).
